We complete a major upgrade to a rubber production facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The upgrade was made to the existing production facility, this included new hardware, plc cpu, remote i/o and pc based HMI together with all associated software; The result is better process control, increased quality and security of the process, historical data logging and review.This upgrade was included as an integral part of a wider scope which together provides increased output capacity. 

The upgrade comprised:-

• Upgraded plc cpu (S7-315-2-DP)
• Remote I/O over Profibus
• Additional supplementary HMI using WinCC runtime on PC
• Additional screens and facilities to existing HMI
• Additional process software in S7
• Historical data logging & review
• Installation and commissioning back into production
